In order to remain competitive and continue to grow, small and medium-sized enterprises must learn to adapt more quickly to change, to intensify their innovation activity, innovation being the biggest challenge for them. In this paper, the author analyzed the innovation activity of SMEs based on existing statistical data for the years 2017-2018, as well compared to the period 2015-2016.
