The phenomenon of the intellectual property is becoming more known, exceeding the dimensions of law and legal rules governing the protection of intellectual activity’s results. The approach to the category of intellectual property from the economic point of view is less studied, in comparison with its juridical aspects. In this article, the author examines the essence of the cathegory of intellectual property, especially within the framework of the economical science.

Actual trends of wine sector in the world and EU

The paper presents the results of the research on the analysis of the current trends of the wine sector in the EU and worldwide, in particular, the evolution of the vine areas, production of grapes with an emphasis on the period of 2000-2015. The study is based on the analysis of statistical data and reports of international organizations. The results show that the global area cultivated with vines has diminished due to the decrease of vine areas in Europe; China has confirmed its position as the country with the second largest vine area; grape production at the world level has met a positive trend, despite the reduction of vineyard areas.
Analisys of legal framework for regulation of family business in Romania

Novelty of this research paper is determined by the imperative economic and social need to create the necessary legal and favorable framework for initiation and developing family business as a form of business success that would be accessible to socially vulnerable families. The aim of the research paper is to investigate the main legal rules of the legal framework of family business in Romania and to familiarize it with similar families from the Republic of Moldova; this would take into account acceptable rules for the Republic of Moldova and will help to create the legal basis for the establishment of this relatively new form of family entrepreneurship in this country. The main research methods are: systemic analysis, monographic, logic etc. The main scientific results obtained in the article are based on identification, analysis and systematization of main legal norms of the legal framework for the initiation and regulation of family businesses in Romania.
Analiza indicatorilor principali ai dezvoltării IMM-urilor agricole

Conform datelor Biroului Naţional de Statistică, în articolul dat sunt analizaţi în dinamică: indicatorii care reflectă activitatea IMM-urilor în sectorul agricol; tendinţele creşterii (descreşterii) numărului de întreprinderi, numărului de salariaţi în întreprinderile şi IMM-urile din sectorul agricol în comparaţie cu întreprinderile şi IMM-urile din toate sectoarele economiei; indicatorii care reflectă coraportul dintre veniturile din vânzări, rezultatul financiar al întreprinderilor din agricultură către aceşti indicatori în toate întreprinderile din sectorul economiei naţionale. Datele analizei demonstrează că numărul întreprinderilor din agricultură, care au primit profit, este în creştere, iar ponderea IMM-urilor care au primit profit este o cifră impunătoare şi se află în creştere. Dar, şi dinamica întreprinderilor din agricultură, care au primit pierderi, este mereu în creştere. Numărul întreprinderilor mici, care au primit pierderi, s-a majorat de la 255 de unităţi, în 2007, până la 383 mii de unităţi, în anul 2015. Cel mai mare număr de întreprinderi care aduc pierderi sunt întreprinderile micro, numărul lor s-a majorat atât în valoare absolută, cât şi ca pondere în totalul întreprinderilor din agricultură cu pierderi.
Analiza internațională a pieței vinului

The paper presents the current trends and perspectives of the international wine trade. The paper also analyzes the production and consumption of wine of traditional European producers and new wine producing world countries with an emphasis on the period 2000-2016. The following research methods were used in the elaboration of this research: monographic, analysis and synthesis, statistical, comparison, etc. The results show that: the EU is the world's largest market for wine production, consumption, wine exports and imports. The best three competitors in the world are Italy, France and Spain, along with them over the centuries, wine tradition continues to be the reference point for world winemaking.
Analiza nivelului de dezvoltare și creștere economică a sectorului vitivinicol din Republica Moldova

În prezenta lucrare autorii au dezvăluit conceptul de dezvoltare și creștere economică care caracterizează efectele economice la nivelul sectorului vitivinicol ca urmare a modernizării și transformării calitative în timp sub influența unui ansamblu de factori. Autorii au determinat și analizat în dinamică 2010-2018 tendința indicatorilor de apreciere a dezvoltării și creșterii economice a sectorului vitivinicol ca: ponderea plantațiilor viticole pe rod în total plantații, cantitatea de struguri de pe plantațiile pe rod, productivitatea plantațiilor viticole pe rod, volumul strugurilor pentru masă și exportul acestora. Pe ultimii ani sa analizat exportul de vinuri din struguri precum și veniturile din export. Cu toate că sunt înregistrate tendințe pozitive modeste în domeniul producerii și exportului produselor, sectorul vitivinicol întâmpină o serie de probleme care necesită: abordarea, rezolvarea, conformarea la standardele UE și alte standarde internaționale. În procesul cercetării au fost aplicate mai multe metode de cercetare: metoda de observare, comparare, metoda de tabelă și prezentarea grafică a datelor, metoda seriei cronologice etc.
Analysis and barriers to the SMEs development in the Republic of Moldova

The sector of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) has a significant impact on major economic and social processes in the Republic of Moldova. The main elements of the contribution made by SMEs in the economic development of the country, in particular: their impact on the structure of the economy, employment, value creation, investment attraction are calculated and analyzed in this article, based on statistical data. In addition, the main barriers faced by Moldovan enterprises in recent years were identified based on the results of interviews conducted with the participation of the author. Analysis of the main elements of contribution, along with the identification of the main barriers faced by businesses allows more rationale to develop and implement the policy of entrepreneurship development in the country.
Antreprenoriatul – o opțiune de carieră târzie pentru vârstnici: experiența străină și situația în Republica Moldova

The actuality of the this research is defined by the necessity to approach the phenomenon of entrepreneurship among older people, because it is insufficiently researched and is not developed and supported by the state policies in the field in the Republic of Moldova. The novelty of the research consists in the fact, that the subject of entrepreneurship and self-employed workers – older people has not been the subject of study so far, and this research is one of the first steps in approach this issue. The aim of the research was to study and analyze the foreign experience regarding the approaches of the issues of the older people and on the policies for supporting entrepreneurship among the older people, and also to present a brief retrospective of the situation in the Republic of Moldova. The main research methods used: logic, systemic, analysis and synthesis, generalization, statistical data analysis, etc. Main outcomes: there was identified the situation regarding the involvement of the older people in self-employed and entrepreneurial activities in European Union and member states and in the Republic of Moldova, elaborated the main conclusions and proposed measures for promoting entrepreneurship among the older people in the country.
Antreprenoriatul inovativ în Republica Moldova: documente de politici, factori determinanți

In recent years, the Government of the Republic of Moldova has made considerable efforts to boost the development of the SME sector and has increasingly recognized the role of innovation as a key driver of a competitive and sustainable economy. And although strategic policy documents, programs, and other normativelegal acts, aimed at stimulating the elaboration and implementation of innovations have been developed and adopted at the national and regional levels, the political commitment to the implementation of innovation policy has remained limited and the innovation ecosystem remains at an incipient phase. In this context, for innovative entrepreneurship to develop effectivelyand be able to fully contribute to economic growth and development, it is suggested that its importance be further recognized. The paper aims to present an overview of the legislative frameworkand policy documents to support innovation at the national and regional levels-derived from other policy areas, highlighting the fact that the integration of the innovation policy for entrepreneurship in existing policy areas is problematic. In the article, the author also identifies and analyzes the determinants of innovative entrepreneurship, available for the Republic of Moldova and comes with some recommendations on boosting the development of innovative entrepreneurship in the country, the main suggestion being the emergence of an innovation strategy with the participation of all stakeholders in innovation and entrepreneurship. Methods such as analysis and generalization (of the legislative acts and policy documents, economic and statistical indicators and other analytical materials) were used in the elaboration of the article.
Approaches of the territorial aspect of competitiveness

The topicality of this article is determined by the significant impact of territorial (regional) factor on the competitiveness of economic units. The main purpose of the article is to determine the certain aspects of mechanisms of this impact. The following basic research methods were used: systemic analysis, monographic, qualitative and quantitative analysis, synthesis, generalizations, historical and logical, deductive and inductive, etc. The main scientific results of the research obtained in the article are the following: definition and role of territorial competitive advantages; highlighting of some regional environmental factors, which influence competitiveness and stability of an enterprise on several quality levels; detection of peculiarities of regional competitiveness policy; generalization of the methods of complex evaluation of competitive advantages; detection of success factors in regions with above average economic performance; characterization of policies of territorial development support (Danish, Italian and German models).
Aspecte actuale ale politicii de reforme structurale în sectorul de construcţii

In the period between the 2001-2008, the construction sectorof the Republic of Moldova has developed in satisfactory growth rates. The houing construction till 2008,was growing up with rising growth rates, but due to the financial crisis that has affected this sector in 2009, the usage of the new houses fell with 34.3% in comparison with 2008. The number of apartments that are built each year is increasing, with the exception of 2009 and 2010 due to financial crisis. State support is also present in this sector through various levers and measures in order to improve the situation.
Assessment of infrastructure as a component of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Republic of Moldova: the opinion of entrepreneurs

The entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Republic of Moldova is still at the stage of formation. The observed trend of growth in the number of small and medium-sized enterprises is not accompanied by a qualitative growth of enterprises. This indicates the underdevelopment of key components of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, one of which is the infrastructure. In this study, infrastructure as a component of the entrepreneurial ecosystem is considered as a set of elements of physical infrastructure, as well as services to support entrepreneurship. The purpose of this article is to assess the state of the entrepreneurship support infrastructure in the Republic of Moldova, including based on the results of a survey of entrepreneurs, which was carried out in 2021 within the applied research project 20.80009.0807.38 „Multidimensional assessment and development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem at the national and regional level in order to boost the SME sector in the Republic of Moldova”, financed from the state budget of the Republic of Moldova. The results of the study showed that the infrastructure component of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Moldova has mainly positive evaluations by entrepreneurs. Overall in the component, access to IT resources and services was most highly rated by entrepreneurs. The indicator with the most negative impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystem is the condition (quality) of the roads. Also, access to crisis resolution and business insolvency services is a significant obstacle for over a quarter of respondents, which reflects insufficient contribution from support organizations to overcome business insolvency issues.

Bugetul de Stat – element primordial în dezvoltarea finanţelor publice

Această publicaţie reflectă rezultatele unui studiu asupra evoluţiei bugetului de stat în ultimul deceniu, cuprinzând atât perioada de până la criză, cât şi după aceasta. Cercetările realizate determină concluzia finală generală, că: stabilizarea bugetului de stat a fost unul dintre succesele majore ce a contribuit la evitarea unui scenariu macroeconomic dezastruos, însoţit de creşterea explozivă a inflaţiei şi colapsarea monedei naţionale. Chiar şi răcirea economiei în anul 2012 a fost pentru Republica Moldova aşteptată, însă nu în aşa măsură.
Bugetul de stat ca component de bază al finanţelor publice

The results of the study about the state budget evolution in the past decade, comprising both: the pre-crisis period and after it, are analyzed in this publication. The general conclusion of this research is: the state budget stabilization was one of the major successes, which helped to avoid a disastrous macroeconomic scenario, together with the explosive growth of inflation and currency collapse. Even the cooling economy in 2012 was expected to the Republic of Moldova, but not so much.
Capitalul uman – factor esențial pentru dezvoltarea inovațională în ÎMM-urile din Republica Moldova

Innovation is a crucial element for competitive and sustainable business development. The aim of this paper is to highlight the importance of human capital in innovation activity and to identify the challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises in the Republic of Moldova in this area. The methods and techniques used in the research include desk research, critical analysis, literature synthesis, and comparative analysis. The results of the research show that the main barriers related to human capital for innovation development in Moldovan enterprises are mainly related to the mismatch between the skills of human capital and the needs of employers, the availability of highly qualified human capital, the lack of personnel with specific specialisations, the massive emigration of the population, especially young people, and the decreasing number of students in science and technology.
Caracteristicile de bază și specificul IMM-urilor în țările cu piața emergentă

In articol sunt generalizate și analizate cele mai importante trasaturi calitative și cantitative ale micilor afaceri. Este prezentata tipologia IMM-urilor in funcție de diferite clasificari. O atenție deosebita este acordata cercetarii procesului de constituire a sectorului IMM și a antreprenorilor in țarile cu piața emergenta, care au inceput in anii ’90 tranziția de la sistemul economiei planificate la cel al economiei de piața. Este dezvoltata și concretizata ideea privind existența in aceste țari a categoriei antreprenorilor ”constranși”, care, de la bun inceput nu au competențele antreprenoriale necesare și, respectiv, nu poseda un comportament antreprenorial. In baza studiilor empirice s-a demonstrat existența acestei categorii de antreprenori și in Republica Moldova. In baza rezultatelor sondajelor, a fost elaborat ”portretul” model al antreprenorului moldav, care deține și administreaza o afacere mica. Specificul IMM-urilor, identificat in condițiile Republicii Moldova, permite de a elabora politici de stat argumentate de dezvoltare a IMM-urilor. Lucrarea prezinta interes pentru cercetatorii sectorului IMM, profesorii și studenții facultaților cu profil economic, reprezentanții comunitații de afaceri și functionarii organelor administrației publice, care participa la reglementarea businessului, in special, in țarile cu economia in tranziție.
Cele mai recente evoluții ale comerțului extern cu bunuri al Republicii Moldova

Epidemia cauzată de coronavirus(COVID-19) reprezintă un șoc pentru economia europeană și mondială. Înmajoritatea economiilor lumii, în urma crizei sanitare generatede COVID-19 care s-a declanșat într-un timp relativ scurt, a devenit necesară adoptarea unor măsuri care au avut ca efect închiderea, în diferite grade, a activităților economice și restrângerea schimburilor internaționale. Tendințele economice înregistrate de Republica Modova în primele luni ale anului 2020 reflectă primele semne ale pandemiei COVID-19. În special, iese în evidență impactul factorilor externi, cum ar fi contractarea cererii externe din partea principalilor parteneri ai Republicii Moldova, cea rezultat în scăderea exporturilor și diminuarea producției unor ramuri industriale,serviciile de transport aerian fiind în scădere accentuată. Aceste efecte ale pandemiei asupra economiei se resimt mai profund odată cu sistarea sau restrângerea temporară a activităților întreprinderilor, ca rezultat al măsurilor epidemiologice cu impact sistemic major.
