    The world economy is developing dynamically; the prerequisites for the elaboration of a new type of management have been created. The subject of the study is the management of competitiveness assessment of goods. Follow methods were used in the process of research: the method of ascending from the abstract to the concrete, empirical methods. The aims of the research are to develop the fundamentals of management of competitiveness assessment of goods, to systematize assessment indicators taking into account specifics of the Moldovan economy, to elaborate proposals and measures to increase the competitiveness of domestic goods. As elements of novelty can be mentioned the following: author has elaborated the definition and stages of "management of competitiveness assessment of goods", has performed the comparative analysis of this management with other types of functional management.

    Comerțul exterior, competitivitatea și creșterea economiei Republicii Moldova

    Trade flows of the Republic of Moldova, and the comparative advantages in the division of goods represent the research objectives of this article. The main purpose is to identify those goods and groups of commodities whose specialization in manufacturing would ensure sustainable economic growth. Research has shown that the structure of exports is dominated by primary products with extremely low added value and goods that are made from clients' materials. In order to ensure economic growth, the state should focus on the development of the following branches of the manufacturing industry: agro-food industry, light industry and industry of construction materials.

    The author in this article focuses on the study of some international trade theories, the analysis of the foreign trade dynamics of the Republic of Moldova, the analysis of changes in the competitiveness of goods on the foreign market, the research of the commercial policies used in the world practice and the improvement of the commercial policy of the Republic of Moldova, the growth of competitiveness and the promotion of indigenous goods. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, the following research methods were applied: analysis and synthesis, the analogy method, the quantitative and qualitative analysis, the functional analysis method.

    Elaborarea algoritmului evaluării competitivităţii bunurilor pe piaţa internă

    In the current period when the domestic market is invaded with import goods, the issue of assessing the competitiveness of goods is a vital issue for local producers. Another factor demonstrating the relevance of the proposed research theme is that there are many methods to assess the competitiveness of goods on the foreign market, but there is no algorithm to assess the competitiveness of goods in the internal market. The purpose of this article is to propose an algorithm for estimating the competitiveness of goods, taking into account the peculiarities of the domestic market. In order to achieve the proposed objectives, the following research methods were used: empirical methods, the functional analysis method. Analyzing the methods for assessing the competitiveness of goods, the author has elaborated a new algorithm for assessing competitiveness in the domestic market.

    Competitiveness of Goods and Classification of Influence Factors

    Fluctuations of the vector of development of the free market lead to increased competition; so the problem of increasing the competitiveness of goods becomes especially acute. In turn, the development of measures to improve competitiveness is impossible without studying the factors of influence. In order to structure the factors, it is necessary to develop a new classifier containing new components. The main purpose of research is the elaboration of a classifier that would include new factors besides those already known. In the process of both empirical and theoretical research methods were used: observation, comparison, the method of ascending from the abstract to the concrete. The study has shown that there is interdependence between the competitiveness of goods and the Gross Domestic Product per capita, also the factors of competitiveness of goods can be divided into the following groups: quality, price, after-sales service, marketing elements, and psychological factors.

    Разработка алгоритма расчёта конкурентоспособности товаров на внутреннем рынке и его место в классификаторе методов оценки конкурентоспособности

    In this article, the author brings the developed classiffer of methods for assessing the competitiveness of goods in the division of various criteria, in which both the methods and criteria already encountered in the scientific literature and those proposed by the author are systematized. Analysis of the most popular methods showed that the ultimate goal of their use is to assess the competitiveness of goods in foreign markets in order to assess the chances of their progress. In pursuit of foreign markets, countries with a negative trade balance did not notice how their own market was seized by imported goods, which pushed domestic goods, even traditional ones, out of the market. Therefore, the author has set a goal to develop an algorithm for calculating the competitiveness of domestic goods in the domestic market, taking into account the specifics of the national economy. The article presents a flowchart of the algorithm and the results of its application, on the example of the Republic of Moldova

    Methodological approach to the elaboration of indicators for quantifying the competitiveness of goods

    The period of temporary economic isolation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the economies of all countries in the world. After quarantine and the gradual restoration of the activity of all economic sectors, competition in the world market will intensify. Countries will promote strategies for economic growth, improving economic security, increasing exports, and protecting domestic producers. Given the fact that resources are limited and exhaustible, it is necessary to correctly identify priority sectors when developing strategies. For this purpose, the competitiveness index can be used, since competitiveness is one of the main characteristics that allows anyone to determine its position on the market, and increasing competitiveness ensures victory in the competition. The novelty and purpose of the study is to develop two new integral indices, and to improve one symmetric index of comparative advantage developedearlier. Some of empirical and theoretical methods were used in this research: abstraction, the method of ascending from the abstract to the concrete, comparison, measurement, analysis and synthesis, economic and mathematical modelling. To identify priority sectors, the author used the developed indices to assess the competitiveness of goods, not only on the foreign market, but also on the domestic market. This study can serve economists as a tool for assessing the competitiveness of goods, identifying thestrengths and weaknesses of the goods offered, in the context of developing measures to increase competitiveness, which will increase the profitability of entrepreneurship.

    Industria ușoară a Republicii Moldova: evoluția, competitivitatea, prognosticul

    Bunurile oferite de industria ușoară sunt utilizate în viața cotidiană a populației. În structura consumului, producția industriei ușoare se află pe locul doi după produsele alimentare, ceea ce determină relevanța cercetării evoluției și competitivității bunurilor industriei în cauză. Scopul cercetărilor efectuate este analiza situației create în industria ușoară, depistarea factorilor cu impact negativ, estimarea competitivității bunurilor, prognozarea volumului de producție pe termen mediu și elaborarea măsurilor de ameliorare a situației în ramura dată. În procesul de cercetare sunt utilizate metode empirice și modelarea econometrică. Rezultatul cercetării constă în elaborarea măsurilor pentru dezvoltarea stabilă a industriei ușoare.

    Classification of the competitiveness’ factors and new approaches to assessing the competitiveness

    The vector of development of Moldovan economy, as well as the world economy, is unstable. In order not to be exposed to external shocks, it is necessary to ensure sustainable growth of the national economy. Only an economy that offers competitive products can achieve this goal. The object of the research is represented by the factors influencing the competitiveness of a product, and the main goals are the structuring of competitiveness factors and the development of new approaches in assessing competitive advantages. The following empirical and theoretical methods hjave been used in the study: observation and data collection, the method of scientific abstractions, comparative analysis, regression analysis, economic and mathematical modelling. In this article, the author has developed and applied two new ways to assess competitiveness. The study showed that the Moldovan economy is based on the production of primitive goods, while in order to achieve stable economic growth it is necessary to redirect its resources to the production of high-tech products and products with high added value.

    Situaţia pe piaţa autohtonă şi competitivitatea bunurilor

    Republica Moldova este o economie deschisă cu un grad înalt de deschidere a pieței interne pentru bunurile importate. Cu toate că Moldova este o țară agrară, care nu deține așa ramuri ca metalurgia, industria constructoare de mașini, totuși, bunurile de import predomină nu numai pe piața bunurilor industriale, dar și pe piața produselor agroalimentare. Cu cât ponderea bunurilor autohtone pe piața internă este mai mică, cu atât va fi mai mică cifra de afaceri a agenților economici autohtoni și nivelul Produsului Intern Brut. Cota bunurilor autohtone pe piața internă depinde de competitivitatea lor. Prin urmare, este actuală studierea tandemului dintre piața internă și competitivitatea bunurilor autohtone. Scopul propus al cercetării este analiza comerțului intern și estimarea competitivității bunurilor autohtone. În procesul de cercetare sunt utilizate metodele teoretice și metodele empirice. Rezultatul cercetării este elaborarea măsurilor pentru majorarea atât a competitivității bunurilor, cât și pentru sporirea cotei bunurilor autohtone pe piața internă.
