Качество экономического роста: проблемы и суждения

Abstract

The article focuses on the problems of measuring economic growth. There has been made an attempt to study the qualitative dimension of economic growth. The analysis has revealed that the statistical evaluation reflects only one side in the life of an individual. The laws of economics are incompatible with the laws of nature. Having considered the Solow growth model it has been figured out that it does not correspond to contemporary realities. The essence of the equation is known: Y=F(K,L). The authors conclude that there is no direct link between the economic growth and technological progress, and suggest an extended model of economic growth where “Consciousness” of the community (average consciousness) plays a dominant role in the development of economy. Implementation of contemporary relations in Gagauz villages has been studied. It has been figured out that the historic traditions, which acknowledged public goods (digging wells, mutual assistance in building homes, etc.), have never been objects of purchase and sale. Modern market “flushes out” spiritual values. The article deals with both the “failure of the market” and “the failure of the state”. Teaching courses in economic sciences there has been proposed a new paradigm in economic theory based on synthesis of the material and nonmaterial in developing future economists.
