Abstract
The paper highlights the importance of investments for economic development of
regions. Industrial and technological parks represent a form of investment that allow to
achieve economic growth and are a viable alternative for monoindustrial areas and not
only. It is being presented a model for obtaining foreign investment that is a part of the
general development strategy.
