Bibliometric study on the situation of proteic crops in Romania and the European Union

Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive perspective, both nationally and internationally, on the importance of the topic of protein plants. The research was structured in two complementary stages; in the first part, the focus was on a quantitative analysis based on the processing and interpretation of statistical data related to protein plants, information extracted from the WoS database. Subsequently, in the second stage, a qualitative analysis was carried out, focusing on the studies and articles identified in the same database.
