Abstract
The article shows that the rural unemployment appeared in the Republic of Moldova as
a result of privatization and reckless privatization reforms. There is analyzed the significance of the
measures of preparation and implementation of the reforms; the link between them and the functioning of
agriculture in the post-privatization period; ways of solving the problem of unemployment and applying
of measures which weren't applied at the stage of preparation and implementation of the reforms.
