Collaboration - across linguists, psychologists, and technologists- is key to creating inclusive digital experiences. Actuality: Social change is a dynamic process intertwined with innovations and demographics. The impact of demographic evolution on economies and competitiveness presents intriguing challenges. This paper focuses on the actions to ensure inclusion and wellbeing for older individuals. Purpose: The research aims to demonstrate that studying a foreign language enables the promotion of active ageing. Specifically, we explore how learning a language can enhance cognitive performance, well-being, inclusion, and the reduction of social inequalities. Research Methods: Based on field analysis and experience in teaching across different age groups, the results highlight the convergence of language and digitalization within the context of older adults’ wellbeing. Specifically, we explore how linguistic changes occur as individuals age and how digital tools intersect with communication patterns. Results: Language acquisition emerges as a powerful tool for promoting social inclusion in the longevity society. Additionally, technology assistance through language learning apps will make it easier for seniors to build vocabulary, improve grammar, and achieve fluency. Our findings enable the planning of targeted didactics and the creation of basic-level teaching materials tailored to the needs and characteristics of identified subjects.Item Financial digital inclusion an appropriate framework for implementation of innovations in the banking sector of the Republic of Moldova(INCE, ASEM, 2024) Ciobu, Stela; Iordachi, Victoria; Gumovschi, AnaDigital revolution is changing the business environment and banking sector is no exception. The development of technology has highlighted the need for digitalisation in all areas, one of the main factors contributing significantly to increasing the quality of life and improving access to public and private services. In this regard, the COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the transition of society to a digital age in education, marking significant gaps in digital skills, connectivity and the use of technology in education, both in terms of teachers and pupils/students Since the beginning of the pandemic, during the two school years (the second semester of 2019/2020 and 2020/2021), education has been subject to major challenges, one of which is to try and reduce the negative impact that the pandemic has/will have on learning and schooling as much as possible. Despite the creation of (online) distance learning platforms and systems, the distribution of communication devices in some schools (starting with the 2020/2021school year), even though these actions have gradually emerged since the authorities decided to close the schools, did not reach all children/youth. Despite repeated assurances from the authorities, it has not been possible to create a clear teaching-learning-assessment methodology for students, platforms and distance learning systems, including all children/youth, as access to online learning is conditional on the social environment of their origin, the level of education of the parents, the area/environment of residence, etc. The reality of this period has shown that the education system has not been prepared for such a challenge, even after the first year of online education, after which deficiencies in the education system could be identified, so it cannot be said that e-learning is fully operational, with a gap not only in terms of logistics required (for schools, pupils and teachers), but also in the digital skills of pupils and teachers. These dysfunctions have caused resilience and equity in the education system, deepening the inequality of educational opportunities for disadvantaged pupils/students, with a negative effect on their future. Those who were marginalized before the pandemic are now even more at risk. The combination of socio-demographic factors (gender, ethnicity, age, place of residence) with economic ones (poverty) can lead to multiple forms of discrimination and exclusion.Item Комплементарное единство стратегий работников и работодателей в условиях глобальной нестабильности(INCE, 2022) Гук, ЛарисаThe crisis caused by the COVID pandemic and the escalation of the armed conflict in Ukraine has drawn attention to the fact that public administration is in dire need of reform. Public institutions have to cope with governance in 'crisis mode', which implies institutional reform as well as a review of working and governance practices. The current situation calls for new proposals for reforms in employment, which include, among others, digitalisation and a fundamental reassessment of labour recruitment and the forms of employment used. In this context, the use of flexible forms of employment such as remote (mobile) employment based on information and communication technology (ICT), Internet employment, employment on digital platforms become relevant. The use of new flexible forms of employment may have a lasting impact on the transformation of perceptions of standard employment, and in particular on a number of aspects such as recruitment and work organization, working conditions, job definition, etc. In addition, an increase in the number of persons working outside employers' premises using information and communication devices and technologies mitigates the risks of social devaluation of the workforce under the threat of epidemics, pandemics, the need for worker self-isolation in case of a threat of armed aggression, an emergency of man-made, natural or other nature. Objective. To outline the strategic directions of employment reforms that will ensure the complementary unity of workers' and employers' strategies under the conditions of global instability. Research methods: system analysis, factor and comparative analysis, structural and functional analysis, method of statistical groupings, hierarchy analysis, expert assessments and other methods. Results. Providing recommendations for identifying strategic employment policies that will ensure the complementary unity of workers' and employers' strategies in the context of global instability.Item Using social media to improve public services(IEFS, 2012) Velicu, Bogdan CalinUnlike the private sector, the value sent through the public service is not measured individually but collectively. Thus, the public value may occur through dialogue and supporting ideas by society members and public officials. Social platforms such as My-Space, Facebook, Wikipedia, Youtube, Twitter and blogs are tools that allow citizen involvement. Social media also allows governments to carefully consider the ways it acts, to modify and adapt policies and procedures, resulting an improved governing act. The question that arises: Has social media the necessary strength to cause a revolution in communicational paradigm between public administration and citizens?Item The role of digitalization in accelerating the transition towards a circular economy(INCE, 2023) Piciu, GabrielaIn this article, it is shown that the lack of a proper digitization in the economy leads to the disruption of the transformation of the value chains, the change of the structure and the functioning of the markets, components necessary for the implementation of the circular model. Good digitization facilitates, through its technologies, the transition to the circular economy through the collection, management and processing of data, the creation of platforms, all of which influence consumer behavior and the way relationships are developed, maintained and advanced, thus increasing value retention and mitigating some of the externalities environmental. The article also analyzes the main economic sectors and sub-sectors in which circular economy measures can be implemented with the help of digitization, which support policies not only by identifying the focal points that can bring the most benefits, but also by reporting them to the broader perspectives of pledged contributions such as Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and other benchmarks such as national carbon budgets.Item Какие навыки нужны маркетологам в условиях цифровизации экономики? Ожидания предпринимателей(INCE, 2023) Gagauz, ValeriuRapid digital changes, the digitalization of entrepreneurship and marketing, present new challenges to marketers, demanding updated skills and strategies. With the growth of online commerce, entrepreneurs are now competing in the digital space, making professional skills in digital marketing crucial for their success. Based on a sociological study conducted by the author in May-June 2023 among Moldovan entrepreneurs, the perceptions and expectations of entrepreneurs regarding marketing were explored. The in-demand marketing services and also offers some recommendations for improving training in the field of marketing are analyzed. Business representatives assign a wide range of activities to marketers, including continuous monitoring of supply and demand changes, customer interactions and analytics, product and service promotion, understanding and optimizing websites for search engines, creating high-quality content, competitor analysis, and more. The primary expectations of entrepreneurs are to attract new customers and increase sales volume as entrepreneurs prioritize the expansion of their customer base and increasing revenue, which are key indicators of success for most companies. Large enterprises are more focused on brand recognition, market share expansion, and the introduction of new products and services. Meanwhile, small and medium-sized business owners aim to enhance their company's image and increase profitability. The study also identifies the challenges that entrepreneurs face in digitizing their marketing activities. This underscores the complexity of adapting to new digital requirements and the need to acquire new knowledge and approaches. Small and medium-sized business owners, often acting as the marketers of their companies due to limited resources, themselves require knowledge in the field of digital marketing. Based on the findings, the author concludes that there is a need for a broader application of innovative teaching methods in the training and retraining of marketing professionals.
