At the same time, the knowledge regarding the alternative finance market is yet in its infancy, with little evidence of the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the alternative finance market in Moldova. Therefore, the article aims to explore financing alternatives for enterprises in Moldova and determine the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on the alternative finance market. Additionally, there were analysed data from other reference countries. In order to achieve the objective of the study, a mixed research approach, based on both primary and secondary data, was used: analysis of statistical data, international rankings, comparison, synthesis, deduction, as well as a questionnaire-based survey designed for small and medium-sized enterprises. SMEs have proven to be vulnerable to crises. The alternative finance market in Moldova was analysed, showing that despite a rise in recent years, alternative sources of financing are still poorly developed. The study shows that enterprises face the biggest problems in accessing venture capital, financing on the securities market and use of electronic platforms to attract funding (crowdfunding, cryptocurrencies, etc.). At the same time, there was registered an improvement in accessing crowdfunding since the beginning of the pandemic.Generally, obtained results are essential for further research, practitioners and in determining measures to facilitate access to finance.Item Aplicarea balanțelor interramurale în analiza și prognoza sectorului agroindustrial(Artifex, 2019) Ianioglo, AlinaThis article reveals the particularities of the analysis and forecast of the agro-industrial sector in the Republic of Moldova, as well as its contribution to the formation of the gross domestic product. The purpose of the article is to analyze and forecast the agro-industrial sector in the Republic of Moldova on the basis of the natural-value inter-branch balance. The methods used are the analysis of the statistical data and the elaboration of the natural-value inter-branch balance. In 2018, the author expanded the inter-branch balance including new goods (ice cream, mayonnaise, beer) offered by the agro-industrial sector, estimated the technical coefficients for quadrant I and evaluated the elements of quadrant II and III. The results of the study are based on the assessment of the current situation of the national economy and can be used in the elaboration of the economic development scenarios. Item Aspecte privind discrepanța dintre cererea și oferta pe piața muncii în Republica Moldova(Artifex, 2020) Ianioglo, AlinaHuman capital represents a key resource for the development of the national economy. At the same time, the discrepancy between supply and demand in the labor market is one of the stringent constraints. The purpose of the article is to analyze the problem of the discrepancy between the qualifications of workers and the needs of the labor market, as well as to identify trends in the labor market for determining main skills of the future. The analysis of the quality of human capital and the discrepancy between the supply and demand of the labor force showed a weak level of the quality of the professional training, not being registered a significant improvement of the situation in the field. The results of the study may be useful for decision makers and may serve as a basis for further research.Item Evoluția comerțului exterior al Transnistriei(Tipogr. "A& VPoligraf", 2019) Ianioglo, AlinaThe article reveals the evolution of external trade of Transnistria, inclusive with the Republic of Moldova. There have been analysed main export and import products of the region: metals and articles thereof, and fuel and energy products respectively. Main trade partners have been identified. Thus, in EU countries, Transnistria exports more than imports, while with partners from CIS countries, it imports more. During the analysed period, the volume of exports of goods from Transnistria to the Republic of Moldova was characterized by an unstable character. At the same time, Moldova remains the main market for Transnistrian products. It was stated that economic processes could serve as a driving force in transforming the Transnistrian conflict by strengthening the mutual interests of the parties.Item Finanțarea antreprenorială în Republica Moldova: opinia antreprenorilor(INCE, 2023) Ianioglo, AlinaAccess to financial resources is perceived as a crucial component of entrepreneurship. Due to insufficient equity capital, enterprises have the need to access external sources. Therefore, it is important to determine the accessibility and difficulties experienced by entrepreneurs in accessing sources of finance. The article aims at analysing the contribution of financing component to the development of entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Republic of Moldova. For this purpose, following research methods were used: analysis of statistical data and questionnaire-based survey of entrepreneurs, conducted in 2022. Indicators characterized both the ease of access to different financial sources, and the level of requirements regarding the guarantees requested by financial institutions when accessing a loan. The data shows that entrepreneurs evaluated the highest access to loans from non-bank and bank financial institutions. Nevertheless, the analysis of the questionnaire data reveals negative evaluations of the indicators regarding the level of requirements on guarantees. Thus, high requirements on guarantees for loans cause difficulties in accessing financing for local enterprises. Despite the measures taken, a number of entrepreneurs noticed difficulties in accessing financing within state programs. The biggest difficulties enterprises face in accessing venture capital. The emergence of new financing sources has substantially increased the financing options available to businesses. At the same time, access to electronic platforms for attracting financing (crowdfunding, cryptocurrencies, etc.) are not sufficiently developed in the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Republic of Moldova and require a special attention.Item Finanțarea întreprinderilor mici și mijlocii: dificultăți și perspective(Tipogr. "A& VPoligraf", 2021) Ianioglo, AlinaAccess to finance represents one of the major constraints of SMEs, especially in current conditions of pandemic crisis. The article aims to determine main difficulties and prospects in financing SMEs in the Republic of Moldova. In order to achieve the objective of the study, following research methods were used: literature review, analysis of indicators from international rankings, comparison and synthesis. SMEs have proven to be vulnerable to crises, with insufficient access to finance, limited internal procedures for managing crises, poorly developed alternative sources of financing. Thus, a number of measures are needed to support SMEs: financial support, development of alternative sources of funding, technical support for better finance and risk management and other measures.Item Instability of production of agricultural products: Assessment and analysis features(Matica srpska, 2018) Parmacli, Dmitrii; Ianioglo, AlinaThe article highlights the presence of unfavourable climatic conditions in the agricultural production of the Republic of Moldova, which adversely affect the results of crop cultivation and the economic sustainability of enterprises. As a rule, the variation indicators are not taken into account and evaluated when calculating the efficiency of crops production and sales, and accordingly, the potential values of land use efficiency in the industry are not correctly predicted. In this regard, the aim of the study is to develop methodo-logical approaches to assess the stability of production and to justify some fea-tures of calculating potential indicators of production and sales of crops. The article shows the dynamics of yield of leading crops over the past 16 years and estimates the instability of production. For this purpose formulas are proposed, with the help of which the level of sustainability of enterprises can be predicted. The suggested interrelationships are vividly presented on graphs. The proposed approaches will allow specialists of enterprises to calculate the financial safety margin and the risk zone for each crop, to predict economic development using, above all, the moving average indicators.Item Land productivity in agriculture in the Republic of Moldova: regional aspect(2019) Ianioglo, Alina; Parmacli, DmitriiThe article reveals the importance of land for the agricultural sector, as well as the state of weather and climatic conditions and their influence on the cultivation of agricultural crops. At the same time, it is reasonably emphasized that natural factors represent key factors affecting the economic viability of enterprises. The agricultural sector is more dependent on the climatic conditions than other industries and has a pronounced seasonal nature. It is noted that a significant part of the country’s territory is located in the zone of unsustainable farming. The stability of crop yields is decreasing from north to south of the country. That is why the southern zone of the country, including ATU Gagauzia, is located in the epicenter of unsustainable agriculture. This is evidenced by the indicators of yields of cultivated crops in various regions of the country. There are presented the yields of grain crops, sunflower and fruits in the whole country and in the regions for 2009-2017. Comparative yields of grain crops and fruits on average in the southern zone of the republic and ATU Gagauzia, located in the epicenter of high-risk farming, are also given. The material is presented in tables and graphs. There was conducted an analysis of the instability of the yield of these crops for the analysed period.Item Methodical approach of substantiation of potential indicators of land use efficiency in agriculture(INCE, 2018) Parmacli, Dmitrii; Ianioglo, AlinaThe article reveals that along with the traditional indicators of the efficiency of productive land use (the ratio between the resultsof the sale of in value or in kind products and the unit of land resources use), it is advisable to apply the indicator of the level of realization of their potential that will comprehensively reflect the achieved level of land use efficiency and possible reserves of increasing the agricultural production. Studies regarding the problems of the economic efficiency of agricultural production, including innovative developments aimed at increasing the productivity of land in the production of crop products, were carried out by many scientists, however, both in training and in real production conditions, as a rule, potential values of land use efficiency in industry are not taken into account. In this regard, studies of the methodological aspects of substantiation of the potential indicators of land productivity and the identification on this basis of the reserves for increasing the efficiency of land use become relevant. The purpose of the article is to present modern methodological tools for the economic evaluation of the efficiency of land use in agriculture. The proposed methodology for calculating potential yield indicators of the main cultivated crops was tested on the basis of the “Pobeda” collective farm in the Ceadir-Lunga district making a comparison between the actual and normative indicators of the profit per unit area. On this basis, land use efficiency reserves have been identified. The results of the research allows specialists of agricultural enterprises, as well as professors and students of higher education institutions to determine the normative indicators of land productivity and the profit volumes for each cultivated crop on the basis of simple calculations, and thus to identify reserves for improving land use efficiency. Item Reziliența economică: experiența internațională și bunele practici(INCE, 2024) Ianioglo, AlinaIn modern economy, economic resilience has become a priority in response to the impact of numerous crises.
