Vectori de convergenţă economică nominală şi reală cu Uniunea Europeană

Abstract

The study aims to construct time-indexed vectors of numerical values of nominal economic convergence criteria (according to the Maastricht Treaty) and the of real economic convergence criteria (proposed by the authors). Based on the convergence vectors sui generis paths of convergence with the European Union are constructed. Also, the gap vector of the current state of the economic convergence process, relative to the benchmark (as codified, for nominal economic convergence, respectively the average of European Union member states for real economic convergence) is designed and assessed. The case study is conducted on the example of Romania, during 2007-2011 (Romania entered European Union on 01.01.2007).
