Tendințe de dezvoltare a pieței de capital în Republica Moldova

Abstract

In Republic of Moldova the legislative governing the financial markets is well advanced compared to other countries in transition, providing a high level of stability and security monitoring of commercial banks, operators in the insurance and securities markets. The regulation of capital market has experienced significant development since 1994 when the first law was adopted on the circulation of securities and stock exchanges. In the Republic of Moldova the capital market still have a little role in financial system, but it tended to expansion and penetration level the capital market in Moldova national the economy is increasing. Number of listed companies increases while increasing the number transactions, transaction volumes and the prices of a series of shares. During the past 3 years the capital markets in Moldova has recorded important a progress marked both by improving the volumes the securities emission and increasing the volume of transactions in securities on the secondary market. At present, in the Republic of Moldova operate only one covered the market of securities: the Stock Exchange of Moldova.
