Abstract

The efficient functioning of the labour market is one from a set of conditions to ensure a competitive national economy. The study of features of labour market’s development is of interest in order to design further policies. The structure of labour market and its evolution provide references about the main economic phenomena. The article describes the sectors where the unemployment occurs, its causes and possible solutions.The analysis of unemployment and its socio-economic consequences help better understand the nature of transformations of labour market and enable forecasting its further development.
