Particularitățile nivelului de trai al pensionarilor din mediul rural din Republica Moldova

Abstract

The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that the problem of improving the standard of living of pensioners occupies an important place in the implementation of social policy in the Republic of Moldova. This problem is of particular importance for rural pensioners, whose standard of living and living conditions are significantly worse than those of urban pensioners. The purpose of the study is to determine the features of the formation of the standard of living of rural pensioners and to carry out a comparative analysis of their main indicators. The following research methods were used: analysis and synthesis, monographic, statistical, comparison, analogs, etc. The information base of the study is the results of a survey of household budgets conducted by the National Bureau of Statistics, as well as data from the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection. Research results: the main characteristics of the way of life and living conditions of rural pensioners, which affect the formation of the features of their standard of living, were determined; a comparative assessment of the level and structure of disposable income and consumer spending of rural pensioners in relation to the entire rural population, as well as to urban pensioners, was carried out. For rural pensioners, the need for their orientation to feasible employment in the labor market and receiving additional income on this basis is very urgent.
