Identificarea direcțiilor principale de acțiune a dezvoltării rurale în Republica Moldova

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to highlight a serious problem facing the Republic of Moldova nowadays and namely rural space development. Taking into account that rural development consists of a set of legal, economic, social, spiritual and ethnographic activities which ensure a stable material and spiritual situation for the members of a rural community, it is necessary that all activities rely on strongly proven strategies. In order to establish and validate a coherent and efficient strategy of rural space development it is necessary to set up the objectives, stages, evaluation tools and to analyze the methods of implementation, possible alternatives, evaluation and decision taking criteria. Therefore, it is crucial to adopt a complex set of directions and options that would guarantee the success and help to overcome the development crisis. This fact supposes certain directions to solve problems not only for the moment, but to identify the weak points on which to focus the established actions. In order to elaborate this paper the author used the bibliographic documentation making a synthesis of the obtained information as well as an analysis of the rural development problem. In conclusion, the author underlines that rural development of the Republic of Moldova was and remains a current, stringent and still unsolved problem.
