Item The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the Moldovan labour market(INCSMPS, 2019) Colesnicova, Tatiana; Ciobanu, Mihail; Gutium, MirceaIn this paper are highlighted and analyzed the tendencies and the particularities of the labour market situation in the Republic of Moldova in the 2019 year and in the first quarter of 2020. The sources of statistical data used in the analysis are the National Bureau of Statistics of Moldova and the results of the surveys of APIUS organization and IOM-UN Migration Agency. In the context of COVID-19 pandemic it’s consequences on the Moldovan labour market are evaluated and prospects of development of the situation are analyzed based on the approved national development strategy for the next decade and on the legislation on the remote work.Item The unemployed as a vulnerable group in the Republic of Moldova: data analysis and new social protection measures(Artifex, 2022) Colesnicova, Tatiana; Doga, ValeriuAccording to ILO forecasts, in 2022 the number of the world's unemployed will rise to 207 million, by 21 million more than in pre-pandemic 2019. Unemployment leads to mass poverty, reduces wages, and threatens social and political stability. In the article are analyzed the main trends in unemployment in the country as a whole and by gender and area. In recent years, the Republic of Moldova has seen a decline in official unemployment. The employment assistance and unemployment insurance in the country are analysed. Also, the article analyzes the recruitment of refugees from Ukraine to the Moldovan labor market, as 89,185 Ukrainian citizens remain in the country today, of which 45,000 are children, and according to the National Employment Agency, 355 Ukrainian citizens have found work and are working in our country, which is less than 1%: 278 women and 77 men. It is described a new government initiative like training vouchers for the unemployed, i.e. the unemployed in the Republic of Moldova will be able to choose a vocational training course based on the voucher system.Item Ocuparea forţei de muncă ca un factor de inegalitate: cazul Republicii Moldova(2015) Colesnicova, TatianaThe influence of employment on the welfare of social inequality in the Republic of Moldova is analyzed in the paper. At the present stage of the Moldovan society development it is important to assess the impact of various factors on the inequality of consumer spending households in the country, which will allow developing the most effective measures for the modernization of economic and social policies. One of the major factors for reducing inequality and existence of the economic welfare in society is the possibility of people to be to be involved in the productive labor. Thus, being employed, the household members directly influence on the household’s revenue and exert a significant impact on livelihoods, both in rural and urban areas.Item Влияние занятости на бедные домохозяйства Республики Молдова(2015) Colesnicova, Tatiana; Hristiuc, LiuboviThe assessment of multidimensional poverty of poor households in the Republic of Moldova conform the main status of employment is analyzed in the paper. Optimization problem was formulated and solved. It is necessary to maximize Gross Domestic Product supposed to labor restriction.Item Abordările metodologice de măsurare şi analiză a şomajului în Republica Moldova(Complexul Editorial, INCE, 2017) Rojco, Anatolii; Ivanov, SvetlanaActualitatea temei este determinată de gravitatea problemei șomajului și necesitatea evaluării diferitor aspecte ale şomajului în Republica Moldova. Scopul studiului constă în evaluarea abordărilor pentru măsurarea gradului și nivelului șomajului și efectuarea analizei diferitor indicatori care caracterizează șomajul în Republica Moldova. În cadrul cercetării au fost utilizate următoarele metode: analogică, comparativă, monografică și statistică. Rezultatul studiului constă în determinarea abordărilor metodologice pentru măsurarea șomajului și analiza aspectelor șomajului, elaborat prin metodologia BIM.Item Comparative analysis of unemployment rates between the Republic of Moldova and EU-27 : challenges and perspectives(IEFS, 2012) Colesnicova, TatianaThe comparable trends of the unemployment rates in the Republic of Moldova and EU-27 during the period 2000- 2011 are analyzed in the paper. The main challenges of this phenomenon and further perspectives for the Republic of Moldova and EU-27 are outlined. The measures for the perfection of the politics for increasing the employment rate and decreasing the unemployment rate in the Republic of Moldova and EU-27 are offered.
