Item Perspectivele dezvoltării relațiilor comerciale dintre Moldova și Azerbaidjan(Artifex, 2023) Gutium, Tatiana; Gojaeva, ElmiraAs independent states, the Republics of Moldova and Azerbaijan have commercial relations that evolve unevenly. The research object is the competitiveness of Moldovan goods in the Republic of Azerbaijan market and the competitiveness of goods produced in Azerbaijan in the Republic of Moldova market. The purpose of the research is to identify those goods whose export is convenient for both countries. Prospects for the development of commercial relations between the republics were also established. In the structure of both export and import of the Republic of Moldova, the largest share belongs to the products of the chemical industry. However, empirical research has shown that it is convenient for Moldova to export pharmaceutical products and for the Republic of Azerbaijan to export fertilizers.Item Influența tinerilor asupra dezvoltării IMM-urilor în Republica Moldova(2024) Gutium, TatianaIn Moldova, the majority of enterprises are SMEs. Small business development needs to be increased to ensure the stable development of the national economy. The Republic belongs to the category of countries with a high rate of population aging. Young people are emigrating from Moldova, so it is necessary to prove that the government should pay more attention to youth problems. It is also required to prove that youth play a significant role in the development of SMEs. The research object is the entrepreneurship sector, and especially the SME. This study aims to verify the hypothesis that the number of young people directly impacts the development of SMEs in Moldova. Correlation and regression analysis were used to verify the hypothesis and construct regression equations.Item Competitiveness of Moldova’s Agri-food Trade: Challenges and Perspectives(2023) Duca, Gheorghe; Stratan, Alexandru; Gutium, TatianaOne of the conditions for increasing the competitiveness of the national economy of Moldova is the promotion of the export of competitive goods. Considering that the Republic of Moldova is mainly relying on its agri-food sector, and it was granted the status of a candidate country for accession to the European Union, the object of research is the Competitiveness of Moldova’s Agrifood Trade. The principal purpose of this study is to determine the directions for modernizing the structure of the agri-food complex to increase its competitiveness in the context of deepening the integration processes in the European space. The authors assessed the trends and prospects for the trade of food products and agricultural raw materials between Moldova and European Union countries. In this aim statistical and econometric methods were applied. The results of the study showed that a promising direction in the development of economic relations between Moldova and the European Union was the formation of clusters with a high potential for competitiveness. For a better integration into the European food products market with minimal loss, there is a strong need in establishing direct economic links and implementation of joint investment projects.Item Challenges and incentives for the growth of the competitiveness of the Moldovan economy(“Baku Business University”, 2022) Stratan, Alexandru; Gutium, TatianaItem The Correlation between Energy Resources Tariffs, Inflation and Competitiveness(IEEE, 2019) Gutium, TatianaEnergy resources tariffs directly affect both the price of the goods and their competitiveness. A growth of tariffs is one of the factors that drives the price index, and provokes a rise in prices for both domestic and imported goods. Therefore, it is important to investigate the relationship between the rate of growth of energy resources tariffs and the dynamics of the level of inflation, as well as to analyze the correlation between tariff levels and competitiveness. Based on the results of the analysis, the author has developed proposals for reducing tariffs and for improving competitiveness, and has described the problems which need to be solved for increasing the competitiveness.Item Analysis of trading partners’ practices for improving the commercial policy of the Republic of Moldova(„Independenţa Economică”, 2021) Gutium, TatianaThe main trading partners of the Republic of Moldova are Romania (member state of the European Union), the Russian Federation (member state of the Eurasian Economic Union) and Ukraine. The trade policies promoted by these states have particular characteristics, some of them have positive effects on national economy, but another negative effects. The object of research is the trade commercial policy. The main purpose of the study is the elaboration of recommendations for streamlining commercial policy of the Republic of Moldova based on experiences of the main trading partners. In order to achieve this aim, the following research methods were used: the method of ascending from the abstract to the concrete, comparative analysis, systemic approach. Economic growth, competitiveness and foreign trade are interdependent. Therefore, the relationship between trade policy and theories related to competitiveness was analysed for explain the theoretical aspect of the research object. According to the results of the analysis of trading partners’ practices was developed recommendations for improving the commercial policy of the Republic of Moldova.Item Концептуализация и совершенствование менеджмента конкурентоспособности товара(МЦТИ, 2020) Gutium, TatianaВ современных условиях, создались предпосылки разработки концепции «менеджмента конкурентоспособности товара» и новых принципов. Пандемия COVID-19, экономическая, политическая нестабильность, привели к переосмыслению механизмов управления, и используемых принципов менеджмента. Обострение конкуренции усложнило задачи, которые стоят перед менеджерами. Научно-техническая революция, цифровизация экономики, так же являются предпосылками, так как изменились условия ведения бизнеса, изменились стандарты, повысились требования к произведенным товарам. Основная цель данного исследования – это концептуализация менеджмента конкурентоспособности товара в контексте расширения функций, принципов, применение которого обеспечило бы повышение конкурентоспособности. Новизна данного исследования состоит в расширении функций, разработке новых принципов менеджмента конкурентоспособности товара и этапов менеджмента оценки конкурентоспособности товара.Item Quantifying the comparative advantage of domestic goods on the internal market(„Independenţa Economică” Publishing, 2018) Gutium, TatianaThis article focuses on the development of indicators to assess the comparative advantages of the product. Using synthetic indicator developed by the author, there was calculated the competitiveness of domestic goods on the internal market and the results are used for development of proposals to increase competitiveness. In addition, the article analyzes the dynamics of the digital economy development in the Republic of Moldova and correlation between competitiveness and digital economy. At the end of this article, the author has shown the impact of competitiveness and the digital economy on the sustainable development of the national economy.
