    Aprecierea accesibilităţii la infrastructura educaţională de către populaţia Republicii Moldova

    Education is one of the pillars on which a society is founded. Educational infrastructure is one of the main factors influencing the quality of education. Access to educational infrastructure is a component of population welfare. In order to evaluate how the accessibility of the educational infrastructure is appreciated by the population of the Republic of Moldova, a sociological survey was developed. This article presents some of the results of this survey. The present work was elaborated and financed within the framework of the Scientific Project for the period 2020-2023, registered in the State Register of Science and Innovation Projects of the Republic of Moldova with the code 20.80009.0807.29 State Program Project "Improvement of mechanisms for the application of innovative tools aimed at sustainable growth of the welfare of the population of the Republic of Moldova". Educația reprezintă unul dintre pilonii pe care se fundamentează o societate. Infrastructura educațională este unul dintre factorii principali care influențează calitatea educației. Accesul la infrastructura educațională este o componentă a bunăstării populației. Pentru a evalua cum este apreciată accesibilitatea la infrastructura educaţională de către populaţia Republicii Moldova a fost elaborat un sondaj sociologic. În acest articol sunt prezentate unele rezultate ale acestui sondaj. Prezenta lucrare a fost elaborată și finanțată în cadrul Proiectului Științific pentru perioada 2020-2023, înregistrat în Registrul de Stat al proiectelor din domeniul științei și inovării al Republicii Moldova cu codul 20.80009.0807.29 Proiect Program de Stat ”Perfecționarea mecanismelor de aplicare a instrumentelor inovaționale orientate spre creșterea durabilă a bunăstării populației Republicii Moldova”.

    Tendinţe recente în evoluţia veniturilor disponibile şi a cheltuielilor de consum ale populaţiei din Republica Moldova

    In 2020, the SARS-CoV-2 virus spread around the world, causing a global pandemic. As a result of the restriction of human activities, including economic ones, in order to limit the spread of the virus, the disposable income of the population also suffered, implicitly also its consumption expenditures. In this article we try to identify how much the Republic of Moldova has been affected, highlighting the recent trends in the evolution of disposable income and consumer spending of the population of the Republic of Moldova. In general, it is observed that the year 2021 is characterized by a much more significant increase in the average monthly disposable income of the population compared to 2020 than in the period 2019-2020. The year 2021 is characterized by an increase compared to previous years of the gap between the average gross monthly nominal salary in the real sector compared to the budgetary sector. At the same time, the year 2021 shows a stronger increase in the average monthly consumption expenditures of the population compared to 2020 than between the latter year and 2019 and also at a higher rate than in the case of disposable income.

    Recent evolutions of some indicators regarding social protection in the Republic of Moldova

    This paper presents a brief analysis of recent evolutions of some indicators regarding social protection in the Republic of Moldova. These indicators include the number of beneficiaries of various types of pensions and the sizes of the pensions themselves. In particular they include: old-age pension, disability pension, survivor's pension, pension for seniority, pension for some categories of civil aviation employees, pension of the participants in the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident, pension of military servicemen and their family members, pension of some employees in the field of culture, early retirement pension and pension for other categories of pensioners.

    The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the Moldovan labour market

    In this paper are highlighted and analyzed the tendencies and the particularities of the labour market situation in the Republic of Moldova in the 2019 year and in the first quarter of 2020. The sources of statistical data used in the analysis are the National Bureau of Statistics of Moldova and the results of the surveys of APIUS organization and IOM-UN Migration Agency. In the context of COVID-19 pandemic it’s consequences on the Moldovan labour market are evaluated and prospects of development of the situation are analyzed based on the approved national development strategy for the next decade and on the legislation on the remote work.

    School enrollment and attendance of Moldovan children: analysis and perspectives

    The main purpose of this article is to analyze school enrollment and attendance of Moldovan children in recent period, revealed the problems and estimated the perspectives. The following researches methods were used in the presented work: induction and deduction, synthesis, logical, monographic, comparative, economic analysis of the statistical data. The analysis revealed that the main reason for not attending the school is the pupil engaged in the labor market and poverty. Other reasons are: the pupil works with the parents in the household, the pupil works daily with parents, the pupil works daily independent of parents, etc. Perspectives in the development of the educational process in the country: the digitalization of educational institutions and professional development of teaching staff in the field of digital technologies, strengthening the material and technical base of educational institutions of all levels, development of program documents, etc. Also, the development of an "Education Strategy 2030" in which the main objectives will be, above all, equal access, quality, relevance of learning, digitalization of education, as well as the development of gender issues, ensuring the resilience of the education system to the conditions caused by the pandemic and in general to the various critical situations that may occur. The strategic goal in the field of education in the country is to ensure its accessibility, the use of modern technologies in the educational process.

    The impact of COVID-19 on the dwelling sector in the Republic of Moldova

    The COVID-19 pandemic has had major consequences for most areas of human activity, including construction, and in particular for the dwellig sector. In this article we try to highlight the recent trends in the development of the housing sector in the Republic of Moldova and how it was affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The data of the National Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Moldova, the surveys conducted by a number of organizations in the country, as well as data from the authors' own survey are used as sources of statistical data. The obtained results showed that the number of commissioned dwellings has decreased, including their total surface and also in urban and rural areas and in all regions of the country, while the costs of the dwellings didn’t have significant changes. The number of purchased dwellings in the framework of government program “Prima casa” has increased. While for the most part people declared that they didn’t spend more during the pandemic period for products and services related to the dwellings, an important share of them increased their expenditures for construction and renovation of the dwelling and the purchase of real estate.

    Attitudes of moldovan employees towards some issues concerning the employment by gender in the Republic of Moldova

    One the current issues that society is facing and that is acutely perceived is gender discrimination. Besides many countries that have been involved in the fight against this multifaceted phenomenon Republic of Moldova is involved, too. A number of studies have covered various aspects of this phenomenon in the country, but in this paper will be identified the actual perception of gender discrimination of Moldovan employees, the types of gender discrimination that employees from Republic of Moldova face from their own perception and the perceived severity of gender discrimination by gender, facets that were scarcely covered in other studies

    Analiza comparativă a indicelui progresului social al Republicii Moldova

    In the given paper the authors analyzed the Social Progress Index of the Republic of Moldova in comparison with other states, the indicators of influence, as well as the welfare of the population. In addition, the key problems facing the Republic of Moldova on the given land were highlighted, with the purpose of identifying the ways of imposing the socioeconomic growth amongthe citizens.

    Влияние занятости на бедные домохозяйства Республики Молдова

    The assessment of multidimensional poverty of poor households in the Republic of Moldova conform the main status of employment is analyzed in the paper. One of the major factors for reducing inequality and existence of the economic welfare in society is the possibility of people to be involved in the productive labor. Thus, being employed, the household members directly influence on the household’s revenue and exert a significant impact on livelihoods, both in rural and urban areas.

    Evaluarea influenţei capitalului uman asupra salariilor femeilor şi bărbaţilor în Republica Moldova

    Influenţa capitalului uman şi a altor factori asupra salariilor de bărbaţi şi femei în Republica Moldova este analizată în hârtie dat. Estimările de ecuaţii Mincerian câştigurilor se bazează pe reprezentative la nivel naţional din Ancheta Forţei de Muncă din Moldova pe anul 2009. Autorul examineză dacă discriminarea de gen este un factor important care determină diferenţa de salarii între bărbaţi şi femei. Factorii selectati pentru examinare sunt: sexul, vârsta, nivelul de educaţie, experienţă de lucru, starea civilă, numărul de copii, tipul de locuri de muncă, statutul professional etc.
