The importance of equitable access to quality health care and innovative strategies to meet future financial challenges such as an aging population and expensive new medical technologies are discussed. Through an integrated and long-term approach, sustainable financing can transform health systems, contributing to improved population health and economic stability. The Republic of Moldova, a country with different dimensions and resources compared to European states, faces multiple challenges in ensuring access to quality medical services for its citizens. In this context, it is essential that the Republic of Moldova adopts sustainable financing policies that respond to its specific needs and support the development of a resilient medical system. The article analyzes concrete measures and international best practices that can be adapted and implemented in the Republic of Moldova to optimize available resources and ensure efficient and quality medical services. Through a well-founded and future-oriented strategy, the Republic of Moldova can build a health system capable of facing current and future challenges, thus ensuring the well-being and health of its population.
