Abstract
The article analyzes the development of ecotourism in the Republic of Moldova and Romania. The author analyze the coordinates of ecotourism development in the Republic of Moldova and Romania to provide a better understanding of the field, highlight the role of ecotourism in sustainable development, describe the experience of ecotourism management, including the experiences of members of local communities related to ecotourism projects and businesses, and the social, economic and environmental impact of ecotourism, proposing ways to encourage the responsible behavior of those acting in the field of ecotourism and tourists.
