Migraţii, remiteri şi dezvoltare: câteva idei din literatura recentă şi recomandări în cazul Republicii Moldova

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to contribute to the academic and political discussions around the impact of international migration on economic and institutional development in origin countries. We discuss some of the recent developments in the economics of migration literature and we briefly overview migration patterns in Moldova. Based on existing studies, we suggest some policy recommendations for improving the benefits of migration in Moldova.
