Item The role of digitalization, tourism and human capital development in the economic growth of the Republic of Moldova(2023) Gutium, MirceaThe purpose of the research is to examine the impact of digitalization, tourism, and human capital on the economic growth of the Republic of Moldova. The study aims to explore the relationship between the country's economy and the level of digital development, which offers ample opportunity for investigation. The methodology of the research - various analytical methods, including comparative analysis, expert evaluation, and statistical methods, were employed during the research process. The results of the research is to highlight the need to identify the type and intensity of the connection between tourism and the economy and the link between tourism, human capital, and the country's economic power. The study also analyzes data from different countries to explore the impact of human capital on digitalization levels, tourism, and economic development. The practical importance of the research - the research has practical significance as it examines the relationship between human capital, digitalization, tourism, and economic development in various countries, depending on the role of tourism in their economic structure. The originality and scientific novelty of the research lies in its analysis of the connection between the level of human capital and the level of digitization in tourism and services. This research has verified the hypothesis that there is a correlation between the contribution of travel and tourism in GDP and Human Capital.Item Development of the digitalization of the customs service in the Republic of Moldova(МЦНТИ, 2023) Gutium, MirceaCross-border trade is one of the sources of financing the state budget, and the Customs Service is the institute that ensures control over the payment of customs duties on time and in the amounts established by law. Along with the development of the digital economy, the digitization of all spheres of a modern state is also taking place. Information technologies have simultaneously touched both the public and private sectors. The Customs Service is one of the closest services to the economy, and its development (as well as the evolution of other sectors) is vital for the state and its economy. Moreover, the innovations of the Customs Service should be carried out much faster than in other institutions because this service controls foreign trade, protects the domestic market, and fights against smuggling and other economic crimes related to illegal import/export of goods.Item Digitalizarea serviciului public medical în Republica Moldova(2023) Gutium, MirceaA state with a sustainable economy and healthy society can only exist under conditions of continuous growth of its competitive potential. In the contemporary era, competitive strength can be achieved primarily through innovation and investment in information and communication technologies. Achieving a high level of population health can be achieved thanks to the implementation of IT technologies in the medical sphere as a system for collecting, processing and analyzing medical data. An analysis of the relationship between IT technology and personal healthcare were made. The results of the research are the basis for the development of recommendations for upgrading the health system.Item Evolution of Consumption Expenditures of Population of the Republic of Moldova(LUMEN Publishing, 2020) Gutium, MirceaConsumption expenditures is one of the key indicators that reflects the purchasing power of the population. Purchasing power in turn shows the level of social welfare. The population with a stable evolution of consumer spending is at least able to maintain its level of consumption with inflation. In addition, if consumer spending rises in proportion to the level of inflation, there is an increase in welfare and living standards. High level of consumption has positive influence on business. greater aggregate demand will generate more profits, boost company development, and foster job creation. In this study, the affirmation was verified that the consumer price index is one of the factors that influence the standard of living, but not primarily. The following scientific methods were used to approve or reject the statement: scientific abstraction, analysis and synthesis, graphical and tabular method, comparative analysis method, correlation and regression analysis. In this study there was made comparison of consumption evolution and its structure in the Republic of Moldova and in the European Union to identify the difference in welfare. The linear regression model between the consumer price index and growth rate of household expenditures was elaborated.Item The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the Moldovan labour market(INCSMPS, 2019) Colesnicova, Tatiana; Ciobanu, Mihail; Gutium, MirceaIn this paper are highlighted and analyzed the tendencies and the particularities of the labour market situation in the Republic of Moldova in the 2019 year and in the first quarter of 2020. The sources of statistical data used in the analysis are the National Bureau of Statistics of Moldova and the results of the surveys of APIUS organization and IOM-UN Migration Agency. A technological custom maintains a high degree of protection from smuggling traffic. The continuous technological development of the customs service depends primarily on the possibility of procuring and adapting new technologies to market requirements and the institutional level of the organization. Also, are analyzed the negative effects of massive digitization in the Customs Service and the possibilities of mitigating these effects.Item Perfecționarea politicilor publice privind gestionarea serviciului vamal în contextul asigurării securității naționale a Republicii Moldova(INCE, 2022) Gutium, MirceaOne of the key elements of the economic security assurance system of the Republic of Moldova is the national customs service. The purpose of this paper is to identify the possibilities of improving the customs service by implementing e-governance principles. Ensuring international trade by the customs authorities of the Republic of Moldova is achieved through the efficient operation of the customs control system. Countries that are part of the global economic system, and are actively involved in international trade, are rapidly developing the customs service and digitizing it intensively. The digitization of the Customs Service will allow the acceleration of international trade and the increase of national security by stopping smuggling attempts. The World Customs Organization is actively involved in the process of developing a unique electronic customs system, which will allow the development of the international market. Finally, there will be the benefits of developing the use of new information technologies in the customs declaration and control process to improve the management of the customs service. In this study, the perception of import-export rights was analyzed in order to identify the importance of the customs service for the country's economy. In order to understand how the welfare of the population of the Republic of Moldova has evolved, in this article are analyzed the indicators on the disposableincome of the population and those on the consumption expenditures of the population of the Republic of Moldova in the 2019 year, as well as their evolutions in recent years.
