    Management of assessing the competitiveness of domestic goods in the context of the commercial policy of the Republic of Moldova: Summary of the doctoral thesis

    The strident changes in the economy have created the prerequisites for the development of management of assessing the competitiveness of goods, the introduction of which would provide an increase in competitiveness. A competitive national economy producing competitive goods is the guarantor of the formation of a sustainable society. The period of temporary economic isolation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic has affected the economies of all countries in the world. It is expected that after the release from quarantine and the gradual recovery of all economic zones, competition in the global market will intensify. Given that resources are limited and exhaustible, priority sectors need to be identified when developing strategies. For this purpose, the competitiveness index can be used, as competitiveness is one of the basic characteristics that allows the determination of the market position.

    Sinteza abordărilor conceptuale a strategiei în contextul modernizării sectorului agricol și sistematizarea teoriilor existente privind modernizarea agriculturii contemporane; analiza procesului evoluțional al agriculturii și prezentarea documentelor de politici aferente sectorului agricol din Republica Moldova; analiza evoluțiilor recente ale agriculturii autohtone și evaluarea competitivității produselor agricole moldovenești pe plan internațional; analiza politicii de subvenționare a agriculturii Republicii Moldova; elaborarea modelului strategic de modernizare a sectorului agricol al Republicii Moldova și evaluarea politicii agricole autohtone la etapa actuală de aderare la UE; identificarea direcțiilor strategice prioritare de modernizare a sectorului agricol în contextul prevederilor PAC a UE și argumentarea recomandărilor privind aceste direcții strategice. Синтез концептуальных подходов к стратегии в контексте модернизации аграрного сектора и систематизация существующих теорий относительно модернизации современного сельского хозяйства; анализ эволюционного процесса сельского хозяйства и презентация политических документов, касающихся аграрного сектора Республики Молдова; анализ последних событий в отечественном сельскомхозяйстве и оценка конкурентоспособности молдавской сельскохозяйственной продукции на международном уровне; анализ политики субсидирования сельского хозяйства Республики Молдова; разработка стратегической модели модернизации аграрного сектора Республики Молдова и оценка внутренней аграрной политики на современном этапе вступления в ЕС; определение приоритетных стратегических направлений модернизации аграрного сектора в контексте положений ЕСП ЕС и обоснование рекомендаций относительно этих стратегических направлений. Synthesis of conceptual approaches of strategy in the context of modernization of the agricultural sector and systematization of existing theories regarding the modernization of contemporary agriculture; analysis of the evolutionary process of agriculture and presentation of policy documents related to the agricultural sector in Moldova; analysis of recent developments in domestic agriculture and evaluation of the competitiveness of Moldovan agricultural products on international level; analysis of the agricultural subsidy policy of the Republic of Moldova; development of the strategic model for the modernization of the agricultural sector of the Republic of Moldova and evaluation of the domestic agricultural policy at the current stage of accession to the EU; identifying the priority strategic directions for the modernization of the agricultural sector in the context of the provisions of the EU CAP and arguing the recommendations regarding these strategic directions.
