Item The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the Moldovan labour market(INCSMPS, 2019) Colesnicova, Tatiana; Ciobanu, Mihail; Gutium, MirceaIn this paper are highlighted and analyzed the tendencies and the particularities of the labour market situation in the Republic of Moldova in the 2019 year and in the first quarter of 2020. The sources of statistical data used in the analysis are the National Bureau of Statistics of Moldova and the results of the surveys of APIUS organization and IOM-UN Migration Agency. In the context of COVID-19 pandemic it’s consequences on the Moldovan labour market are evaluated and prospects of development of the situation are analyzed based on the approved national development strategy for the next decade and on the legislation on the remote work.Item Using python to resolve the economic problems(Artifex, 2019) Colesnicov, Alexandru; Malahov, Ludmila; Colesnicova, Tatiana; Verlan, SergheyThe work discusses the essential aspects of implementation of online economic applications using Python. The exemplified application performs econometric calculations over the data on an enterprise to analyze situation on labour market. At the present stage of the Moldovan society development it is important to assess the impact of various factors on the inequality of consumer spending households in the country, which will allow developing the most effective measures for the modernization of economic and social policies. One of the major factors for reducing inequality and existence of the economic welfare in society is the possibility of people to be to be involved in the productive labor. На современном этапе развития страны, многие люди сталкиваются с такими серьезными проблемами, как бедность, нищета, наркомания, алкоголизм, низкие доходы, нестабильность финансовой системы, моральная деградация, безвыходность, которые в свою очередь ведут к росту уровня миграции, увеличению числа разводов, насилию в семье и как результат — дети, оставшиеся без попечения родителей.Item Application of the econometric apparatus for estimating some parameters in the field of gender equality on the Moldovan labour market(Performantica, 2019) Naval, Elvira; Colesnicova, TatianaThe main goal of thisarticle is to evaluatethe perception ofgender inequality based on the selected data from the questionnaireon gender problems (latest results), elaborated by the team of the STCU project. From the twenty-eight indicators of this questionnaire there were selected five, namely: the perception of existence of inequality in the workplace, gender, age, the level of educationand the sector of economic activity. Using the obtained data, gender inequality in the workplace has been estimated in the paperwith the fourremaining indicators. As a result, a regression function was defined. The determined regression function was estimated and analyzed.Item International experience on childcare leave practices from a gender-based perspective(INCE, 2019) Colesnicova, Tatiana; Ciobanu, Ghenadie; Ciobanu, MihailIn contemporary society, women express more often the desire to be active in the labour market than in previous centuries. At the same time, in addition to the status of employees or entrepreneurs, as a rule, throughout the life they also acquire the status of mother. The need to care for the child during its early lifeby the mother, in particular, but also by the father of the child, is recognized in society by both the state andthe business environment, although to a different extent, which, besides the possibilities that these entities can offer to the mother and to the father, but also to other people who have a role in the care of the child, determine a wide variety of schemes of measures in this regard. The purpose of this article is to analyze the international experience of different countries and companies in offering such measures in terms of gender. The research methods used are: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, statistical indices, etc. In addition to paternity and maternity leave, as well as shared parental leave and other types of childcare leave, such as grandparental leave, were identified. After highlighting the practices of various companies that take seriously the need to help parents with childcare, it is clear that successful companies are much more generous in this regard than the state in developed economies, an inverse situation compared to weaker economies such as those from Africa or those from Eastern Europe or Central Asia.
