In the given paper the authors analyzed the Social Progress Index of the Republic of Moldova in comparison with other states, the indicators of influence, as well as the welfare of the population. In addition, the key problems facing the Republic of Moldova on the given land were highlighted, with the purpose of identifying the ways of imposing the socioeconomic growth amongthe citizens.

Analysis of the legislation of the Republic of Moldova in the customs field: strengths, weaknesses

In the article we systematize the legislation of the Republic of Moldova in the custom field and also analyse the impact of electronic declaration on import and export of the Republic of Moldova. Customhouses taxes has become an indispensable factor for the development of the national economy, as well as electronic tools for accelerating taxes collection. According to estimates, most part of gross domestic product is collecting from customhouse taxes of import. The customs policy aims at ensuring the efficiency of customs operations, regulating the exchange of goods on the customs territory of the Republic of Moldova, contributing to solving political and trade problems regarding the protection of the internal market and stimulating the development of the national economy. At the end of the article, we identified the strengths and weaknesses of customs legislation and were elaborated the recommendations.
Assessing the interdependence between customs duty revenue in the national budget and the living standard of the population

Import revenues in the national budget represent an important flow of monetary resources for most countries, including the Republic of Moldova. This article will contain the study of the dependence of the share of import revenues in the budget, with such indicators as The Quality of Life Index or Human Development Index. The Republic of Moldova is dependent on customs revenues, namely the study of this type of revenue source is importantfor understanding the economic structure of revenues in the budget. Comparison with the income structure of other countries will give an understanding of the link between the standard of living and the import / export balance.
Bariere de incluziune socială a persoanelor cu dizabilități

One of the most pressing issues today is the integration of people with disabilities into society. Forming the conditions for their development, their comfortable conduct, interaction with other people and the world around them, as well as the manifestation of its human potential. The purpose of this article is to analyze the international experience regarding the social inclusion of people with disabilities. Due to the study of the experience of other countries, the author will prepare a set of current proposals for the Republic of Moldova. This study has been supported by the State Program 20.80009.0807.29 “Improving the application mechanisms of the innovative instruments oriented towards the sustainable growth of the well-being of population of the Republic of Moldova.”

International trade strongly influences the level of development of the states' economy. Therefore, for the economy's sustainable growth and the Customs Service's continuous development, it is necessary to reduce the time required for customs clearance and accelerate the traffic of goods. This goal can be achieved by identifying the effective organizational structure and introducing beneficial experiences within the national customs administration. At the same time, developing and adapting information technologies to the needs of the Customs Service is beneficial. In this article, there is a comparison of the efficiency of the Customs Services of different states based on the time required to carry out the export procedures to identify the factors necessary to improve the activity of the Customs Service in the future.

The economy largely depends on trade, and especially international trade, fastdata processing speeds up the transportation of goods and makes it easier to carry out the logistics process. In order to improve the quality of the services provided by the customs service, it is necessary to improve the culture of communication between customs authorities and private companies. It is necessary to develop an efficient, convenient, fast and friendly mechanism that would allow customs authorities to react quickly to market requirements and the interests of economic agents in the passage of its goods across the border, with the aim of strengthening free trade between countries.
Development of the digitalization of the customs service in the Republic of Moldova

Cross-border trade is one of the sources of financing the state budget, and the Customs Service is the institute that ensures control over the payment of customs duties on time and in the amounts established by law. Along with the development of the digital economy, the digitization of all spheres of a modern state is also taking place. Information technologies have simultaneously touched both the public and private sectors. The Customs Service is one of the closest services to the economy, and its development (as well as the evolution of other sectors) is vital for the state and its economy. Moreover, the innovations of the Customs Service should be carried out much faster than in other institutions because this service controls foreign trade, protects the domestic market, and fights against smuggling and other economic crimes related to illegal import/export of goods.

A state with a sustainable economy and healthy society can only exist under conditions of continuous growth of its competitive potential. In the contemporary era, competitive strength can be achieved primarily through innovation and investment in information and communication technologies. Achieving a high level of population health can be achieved thanks to the implementation of IT technologies in the medical sphere as a system for collecting, processing and analyzing medical data. An analysis of the relationship between IT technology and personal healthcare were made. The results of the research are the basis for the development of recommendations for upgrading the health system.
Digitalization in customs services: international experience

In the age of digitalization, the way of launching and conducting business is changing. Digital technologies have a direct impact on the activity of taxpayers and the process of collecting direct and indirect taxes (VAT, customs duty, excise duties, etc.). The degree of digitization is increasing year by year, and digital technologies are being implemented in various economic fields, including customs. This study analyzes the organization of cross-border e-commerce, identifies the problems that arise in the provision of customs services. The object of research is the international experience of solving pressing customs problems by implementing digital technologies. Based on the results obtained, the main directions of digitization of customs processes in the context of improving the customs system were identified.

Articolul dat analizează influența pandemiei COVID-19 asupra vânzărilor pe piața serviciilor de telecomunicații. Sfera tehnologiilor informaționale fiind importantă pentru dezvoltarea durabilă a țării, a cunoscut schimbări semnificative pe durata situației pandemice. Numărul conexiunilor de internet fix în trimestrul II al anului 2020 a crescut în comparație cu perioada similară a anului precedent, însă prestarea serviciilor de telefonie mobilă a cunoscut o scădere majoră.
Evolution of Consumption Expenditures of Population of the Republic of Moldova

Consumption expenditures is one of the key indicators that reflects the purchasing power of the population. Purchasing power in turn shows the level of social welfare. The population with a stable evolution of consumer spending is at least able to maintain its level of consumption with inflation. In addition, if consumer spending rises in proportion to the level of inflation, there is an increase in welfare and living standards. High level of consumption has positive influence on business. greater aggregate demand will generate more profits, boost company development, and foster job creation. In this study, the affirmation was verified that the consumer price index is one of the factors that influence the standard of living, but not primarily. The following scientific methods were used to approve or reject the statement: scientific abstraction, analysis and synthesis, graphical and tabular method, comparative analysis method, correlation and regression analysis. In this study there was made comparison of consumption evolution and its structure in the Republic of Moldova and in the European Union to identify the difference in welfare. The linear regression model between the consumer price index and growth rate of household expenditures was elaborated.

The impact of COVID-19 pandemic on the Moldovan labour market

In this paper are highlighted and analyzed the tendencies and the particularities of the labour market situation in the Republic of Moldova in the 2019 year and in the first quarter of 2020. The sources of statistical data used in the analysis are the National Bureau of Statistics of Moldova and the results of the surveys of APIUS organization and IOM-UN Migration Agency. In the context of COVID-19 pandemic it’s consequences on the Moldovan labour market are evaluated and prospects of development of the situation are analyzed based on the approved national development strategy for the next decade and on the legislation on the remote work.
Information age opportunities and digital habits in the Republic of Moldova

The Customs Service have to be developed not only in the managerial and highly qualified human resources sense, but also in the vector of increasing the digitalization of the service. A technological custom maintains a high degree of protection from smuggling traffic. The continuous technological development of the customs service depends primarily on the possibility of procuring and adapting new technologies to market requirements and the institutional level of the organization. Also, are analyzed the negative effects of massive digitization in the Customs Service and the possibilities of mitigating these effects.
