Evoluția industriei producerii mierii de albini din Republica Moldova în contextul reformării sectorului agricol national

Abstract

The economic efficiency of the domestic agricultural sector can only be ensured by implementing modern production technologies, by promoting and developing agricultural branches with a high capacity to supply products with a high economic value. Therefore, the bee honey production industry, a field with centuries-old traditions in the Republic of Moldova, perfectly conforms to this desire. Through the support programs, but also the opportunities that have opened up for local beekeepers, this branch has registered relevant progress in the last decade. However, as a result of the unfavorable economic situation, which currently prevails on the markets of the main Moldovan honey importing states, the national beekeeping registers a less favorable period. The work given, through the prism of the research carried out, represents a brief economic analysis of the evolution of the domestic beekeeping sector in the last thirty years, the periods of ascent but also of regression of the respective field, the current challenges and the ways to remedy them are reflected.
