This paper is a brief overview of the use of artificial intelligence technologies at key levels of scientific research. Information is provided about the place and role of ethics in the field of AI, the basic definitions of the research topic, a brief analysis of the theoretical foundations of ethics as a direction of philosophy and the ethicalmoral relationship in the field of AI with science and scientific disciplines is reflected. Thus, the approach to ethics in the field of AI, the understanding, systematization, development of the concept, and what is the sphere with the practical processes of creating, using and regulating AI systems in scientific research are noted. Information about the main risks and challenges that can be minimized or eliminated through an ethical form or method of implementing AI projects is exposed.
