Abstract
The paper presents the results of research on the role of small farmers in agricultural
entrepreneurship. Farmers have an important role in balancing the need to increase productivity with the need to protect the environment and create value for society. The research is based on reports in the field; scientific papers of local researchers; articles of experts from this domain. Several research methods were applied in the research process: observation
method, comparison, time series method, etc.
