Abstract

Articolul reflectă activitatea de standardizare în domeniul informare și documentare, organizațiile și tipurile de documente care reglementează activitatea de standardizare la nivel mondial și național, norme și prevederi pentru procese, produse și servicii în domeniu. Este prezentată structura Comitetului Tehnic nr.1 Biblioteconomie. Informare. Documentare și obiectivele principale pentru activitatea de standardizare în domeniul biblioteconomic, impactul standardelor în funcționarea eficientă a bibliotecilor, adaptarea la cerințele actuale de dezvoltare și modernizare a serviciilor și produselor informaționale oferite utilizatorilor.The article reflects standardization work in the field of information and documentation; organizations and types of documents regulating the standardization activity at the global and national level; standards and regulations for processes, products and services in the field. The structure of the Technical Committee No.1 in Library Science, Information and Documentation is presented, as well as the main objectives for standardization work in the field of librarianship, impact of standards on the effective functioning of the libraries, their adaptation to actual requirements of development and upgrading of information products and services offered to users.
