Item Economic and technological aspects regarding the cultivation of blueberries in the conditions of the Republic of Moldova(USAMV, 2023) Turetchi, Viorel; Turetchi, TatianaCultivation of blueberries is an entrepreneurial activity recently approached by local farmers, a business with a fairly high economic potential. The nutritional and economic value of this crop fuels an active interest for both consumers and local producers. However, blueberry cultivation represents a risky challenge for potential domestic producers. This fact is conditioned, mainly, by the local natural factors that are unsuitable for the development and fruiting of the blueberry, respectively, for the creation of conditions similar to the natural habitat of the blueberry, considerable investments are required. The aim of the paper is to present a series of calculations proving that blueberry cultivation represents a profitable business in Moldova. The used methodology is based on comparative, analytical methods, and financial indicators that prove the business profitability. With a thorough elaboration of the whole business process, with all the calculations and analysis of the estimated results, as well as the exact forecasting of the risks and the impact, the cultivation and production of blueberries in the conditions of our country can become a successful business.Item Impact of property reform on the microfinancial phenomenon(DO-MINOR Publishing House, 2009) Bajura, Tudor; Mocanu, NataliaProperty reform means the tonality of economic, politic, social and other kinds of measures meant, on the one hand, to ensure the diversity of property forms and to improve their structure, and on the other hand, to from premises of the efficient exercise of property rights on the economic potential elements, the corporate governmental mechanisms being included. Annually, the research team within this project evaluates the degree of implementation of the Policy Matrix of the Roadmap for improving the competitiveness of the Republic of Moldova, as well the way the country's economy develops and its progress towards becoming a more competitive economy internationally, including in the European Union - a very demanding market. This year, in the first stage of the research project, we aimed to achieve the following priority tasks that were successfully fulfilled: analysis of international reports reflecting the quality of the business environment and the level of competitiveness of the Republic of Moldova compared to other states in the region in 2017; analysis of the monitoring report on the implementation of the Policy Matrix of the Roadmap for Improving the Competitiveness of the Republic of Moldova in 2017; to formulate conclusions on the main constraints limiting the economic growth that emerges from the analysis of the Monitoring Report on the implementation of the Policy Matrix of the Roadmap and the international rankings.Item Restructurarea economiei agrare şi spaţiului rural în condiţiile exodului masiv al braţelor de muncă(INCE, 2016) Bajura, Tudor; Turetchi, ViorelIn the article are described the needs to restructure both the economy of the agricultural sector and the socioeconomic stile of life in the rural entirely area under the influence of the massive exodus of labour in the last decades. It is proposed to be implemented variant of gentrification rural localities, having regard to the prospect of insurance centers gentrifications with all spectrum of infrastructure services, which, is virtually impossible for the inner territory of the whole rural settlements. Concurrently, submitted recommendations substantiated by the more efficient use of the existing potential of production through the implementation of modern technologies of production in the both: phyto and/or animal husbandry production of agricultural sector.Item Evoluția competitivității economiei naționale: aspecte teoretico-metodologice și practice(INCE, 2017) Stratan, AlexandruParcurgând un lung proces de tranziţie la economia de piaţă şi, fiind în procesul consolidării unei zone de comerţ liber aprofundată şi comprehensivă cu Uniunea Europeană, sporirea competitivităţii naţionale a devenit un obiectiv de importanţă majoră necesar a fi realizat de către autorităţile naţionale. Or, neglijarea acestui aspect, la această etapă, ar putea majora costurile şi timpul de reducere a decalajului de dezvoltare între economia moldovenească şi alte state din regiune. Scopul acestei lucrări constă în evaluarea competitivității economiei naționale, ținând cont de suportul informaţional disponibil în rapoartele trimestriale de monitorizare a Foii de parcurs privind ameliorarea competitivităţii Republicii Moldova. În procesul efectuării investigaţiilor au fost utilizate un șir metode de cercetare, inclusiv: analiza, sinteza, inducția, deducția, analogia, luând în considerare specificul domeniului economic. Principalele rezultate obținute în urma investigațiilor constau în oferirea unei diagnoze comprehensive a proceselor economice şi sociale ce contribuie la determinarea nivelului competitivităţii naţionale şi identificarea constrângerilor majore care necesită o implicare mai mare din partea autorităţilor publice, mediului academic şi a societăţii civile, în ansamblu.Item Investment process and actual tehnical providing of Moldavian agriculture.(INCE, 2017) Bajura, TudorThe investment process in rural areas of Moldova, especially – in agricultural sector of the national economy, in last decades is under considerable strain caused by permanent lack of financial resources on agribusinesses enterprises and almost symbolic financial aid from the state. As a result, large parts of agricultural land remain unprocessed years in a row, which is why both farmers and entirely national economy suffer essential economic losses. Given the fact that the possibilities of state financial assistance in the agricultural sector in our country are limited, in this article we propose alternative ways to overcome the crisis, argued from the ecological point of view and acceptable from economic considerations of villagers. The purpose of the study is to identify obstacles on the way of carrying out the investment process in rural areas of the country, establishing ways to overcome the deep and long lasting crisis both in the investment activity and efficiency of the agro-industrial sector of the Republic of Moldova entirely. As a basic source of information for the article there were used different information collections of "General Agricultural Census 2011 in Moldova". As a basis of the research methods there were used analysis and synthesis, comparison, trend identification methods, dynamic lines and their analysis, etc. According to the established goal, the main results of the carried out investigations are expected as rational and efficient use of tens of thousands of hectares of agricultural land which, beginning from the first stage of reforming of the agricultural sector and ending with today, remain outside of the application process, simultaneously being removed from their market circuit and converted into fallow areas.Item Remittances contribution to sustainable economic Development: Case of Republic Moldova(,,VICTOR SLĂVESCU” CENTRE FOR FINANCIAL AND MONETARY RESEARCH, 2014) Stratan, AlexandruDespite the magnitude and in, some cases, the major role remittances do have in many economies all over the world, the monitoring and estimation of these flows, as well their impact on home economies pose a lot of challenges for specialists in this area. We found that, concerning Republic of Moldova, no data exists on the real volume of the money transfers made by Moldovan emigrants to the country. All data rely on indirect measures produced by local and international institutions and think tanks that can be used to make an approximation of the volume of these flows, their structural characteristics and spillovers on country’s social and economic development. The main sources in this context are: the Balance of Payments elaborated by the National Bank of Moldova that is considered the most relevant source to make an estimation of remittances’ volume; the Household Budget Survey carried out by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) that presents data on remittances share on resident households income.Item Remittances in the Republic of Moldova: Lost opportunities(2011) Stratan, Alexandru; Chistruga, MarcelThe article covers the problem of the relationship between remittances and economic growth as well as the use of remittances for productive investment in order to contribute to long-run development. Also, there are given some stylized facts of remittances in the Republic of Moldova and their impact over the national economy. Because of its business and investment climate, of its financial system and macroeconomic policies that were implemented, Moldova has lost almost all opportunities to benefit from remittances.
