The analysis of economic efficiency of technology in the wheat production for the crop year 2012-2013. Determination of the standard gross margin (SGM).
    (IEFS, 2012) Ursu, Ana
In agriculture, as in other branches of the national economy an important role in the energy saving reverts to the optimal production technologies, specific to each crop and soil and climatic area. It is required to take into consideration both the technological factors that lead to enhanced production without additional energy consumption (crop rotation, variety, density, sowing period) and the factors involving energy consumption (fertilizers, irrigations, mechanization). The undertaken researches aim to the economic foundation of the production technology of the wheat culture-irrigated and not irrigated system - in 2012-2013, as well as determination the Standard Gross Margin (SGM), in order to express the economic size (ESU) of the activity. The economic efficiency resulted as a ratio between different types of effects obtained and efforts, necessary to carry out the wheat culture technology was highlighted by calculating the indicators: cost of production, labor productivity, rate of return costs, break even and Standard Gross Margin expressed in ESU. The rate of return (estimated) for wheat crop is 9% in not irrigated system and 23.2% in conditions of irrigation.

Comparative study on the global efficiency in the agriculture of Romania and the Republic of Moldova
    (INCE, 2022) Ursu, Ana
The study examines the global economic efficiency in the agriculture of Romania and Moldova for the period 2014-2021. To assess the economic efficiency, the output-input analysis method was used. Global economic efficiency is analyzed through the resulting value indicators: gross added value, the value of intermediate consumption, the evolution of producers' incomes, gross fixed capital formation, net fixed capital formation, as well as labor productivity. The results of the analyzes show that the agricultural sectors in the two countries reach different levels of efficiency, especially those in Moldova, and that the main factors that influence the level of global economic efficiency, corresponding to the analyzed output indicators, are: production yields, intermediate consumption, input prices and outputs, the level of technological development, salary income, labor force, inflation, weather conditions, etc. The major findings showed that the agricultural sector in the two countries faces similar major challenges, what differs is the size and economic size of agrarian production structures and that agricultural activity takes place in different political environments.

Comparative study on the trend of evolution of labour resources in agriculture in Romania and the Republic of Moldova
    (INCE, 2023) Ursu, Ana
In the current context of global demographic developments, there are concerns about the growth of the world's population relative to available resources, as well as concerns about climate change on a national and global scale and poverty as a factor holding back a nation's economic prosperity. The study aims to present a multitude of statistical indicators of human development and labour resources in agriculture in order to facilitate both the analysis of the current situation and the shaping of appropriate trends in agricultural labour resources. Statistical data as well as specific documentary sources are used for the study and the methodological approach will be from demographic, economic, social, technological and environmental perspectives. The major findings showed that labour resources in agriculture of the two countries are facing similar major challenges, and their increasing or decreasing trends are influenced by the same determinants.

Studiu privind perspectivele fermelor mici din România în condiţiile globalizării
(INCE, 2015) Lapusan, Alexandru; Ursu, Ana

Transition to sustainable agricultural production systems
    (INCE, ASEM, 2024) Ursu, Ana
The transition to sustainable agricultural production systems is supported by programmes, strategies and action plans. Funding mechanisms are provided by the Common Agricultural Policy, both through Pillar I and Pillar II. In agriculture, the transition from conventional to organic farming generates costs. These costs vary according to the type of crop, the size of the farm, the existing infrastructure, the level of knowledge and skills of the farmer. The study aims to determine the costs of transitioning from conventional wheat cultivation to organic farming. The study involves a quantitative analysis of secondary data to assess the current situation of organic farming at European level, identification of the types of transition costs, budgeting of wheat activity, comparative analysis of production costs, profitability, etc. The results contribute to understanding the transition costs associated with organic farming and to informing decisions to ensure an efficient, sustainable and durable transition.
