Reformele de tranziţie spre piaţă şi stratificarea economică rurală

Abstract

In this article are analyzed major social-economic and structural changes which took place in the Republic of Moldova as a result of the collapse of socialism and transition of the village to the market economy. It is shown that the transition reforms where necessary to conform the general organization of the society, the quality of human material, to maintain a functional economy and improve the living standards of farmers. But, because of a deficient morality, the reforms where improperly implemented; therefore, the economic stratification rose sharply and the living standards decreased unexpectedly, thus triggering a chain of destructive processes which threaten the stability and sustainability of the society.
