Abstract
Within the economic modelling, a major role is played by the institutional sectors, namely the economic actors grouped by similar behaviour: public institutions, households, economic agents, financial agents, external sector. The financial models are building up the income/expenditure accounts for each sector, thus allowing for the identification of correlations between indicators, according to the economic theory. The paper illustrates the way in which the main financial indicators are compiled for three sectors (public, private, external) of a reduced RMSM model, as well as the correlations between these specific indicators and those of the IMF blocks: GDP
components, general consolidated budget and balance of payments. The forecasts for the main income/expenditure are presented and analysed, pointing out the major structural changes.
